TWENTY-ONE STONES, ANY ONE OF WHICH COULD BE A RING
Half a carat is the weight at which a diamond stops being a component and starts being a centre stone. It is the size people choose for a solitaire, set alone, on its own certificate.
The Camile uses twenty-one of them, in a row, on a wrist. Ten and a half carats in total — and every stone on it would, in another piece, have been the diamond the whole design was built around.
THE SETTING
Each of the twenty-one is held in an individual collet: a collar cut to that stone rather than a shared channel. At 5.00 mm this matters more than it does at melee sizes, because a channel wall running across stones this large would cover a visible band of every one of them. The collet leaves the girdle open and the diamond whole.
Fewer stones also means fewer, wider links, and a bracelet that moves in larger segments — it drapes rather than flows, and the individual stones stay readable rather than merging into a line of light.
SPECIFICATIONS
Diamonds — 21 round brilliant, 5.00 mm, 0.50 ct each. 10.50 ct total.
Certification — every diamond of 0.20 ct and above ships with its certificate: GIA for natural, IGI for lab-grown. All twenty-one qualify.
Setting — Collet, one per stone.
Length — fixed at 7 inches.
Metal — 14K or 18K gold, in yellow, white or rose. 14.13 g at 14K, 16.62 g at 18K.
Diamond origin — natural or lab-grown, to preference.
Made to order. Two to three weeks from order to dispatch.
Bracelets are made to a fixed length and cannot be resized.
