A CIRCLE IS THE HARDEST LINE TO FAKE
Bezel setting a round brilliant sounds like the simplest job in the trade, and it is the least forgiving. The collar is a true circle, and the human eye detects deviation from a circle faster than from any other shape. A bezel that is a fraction oval, or a wall that thickens on one side, is obvious at arm's length even to someone who could not say why.
The Cassandra repeats that circle sixteen times. Sixteen round brilliants at 3.50 mm, 2.64 carats in total, each ringed in metal and set flush around the band.
THE SETTING
A bezel is a deliberate trade. Closing metal around the full girdle blocks the light that a prong setting would let in from the side, so the stone gives back less fire than it would held in claws. What it buys is a continuous, unbroken top line, no claws to catch on fabric, and the most secure hold available for daily wear.
Set in a row, the effect is closer to a chain of links than a row of settings — diamond and metal alternating at a fixed interval the whole way round.

Certification — these are melee diamonds and are not individually certified, which is standard practice at this size.
Setting — Full bezel, one per stone.
Metal — 14K or 18K gold, in yellow, white or rose. 2.98 g at 14K, 3.51 g at 18K.
Diamond origin — natural or lab-grown, to preference.
