MOSTLY GOLD
Almost every other bracelet in this collection is a diamond object with metal holding it together. The Lexi is the reverse: a gold bracelet with nineteen diamonds set into it.
The numbers say so plainly. 9.48 grams of gold in 14K against 2.09 carats of diamond — which is 0.42 grams. There is more than twenty times as much metal here as stone, where a piece like the Bianca carries almost a gram of diamond for every four of gold.
That is a design decision, not a saving. Spaced stones let the metal be seen: the polish on the links, the way light travels along a curved gold surface, the shadow between one link and the next. On a bracelet crowded with diamonds none of that registers.
THE SETTING
Nineteen round brilliants at 3.00 mm, 0.11 carats each, every one in its own collet — a collar cut to the stone rather than a shared channel. Set into a line with metal between them, each diamond reads as a distinct point of light rather than part of a continuous band.
It is the quietest piece here, and the one most likely to be worn every day.
