THE ETERNITY RING BUILT TO BE WORN
A full eternity ring is not an occasional piece. It goes on and stays on — through washing up, coat sleeves, car keys and decades of being knocked against things without anyone noticing.
Stone size is the main thing that decides whether it survives that. A large diamond sits high, which is what makes it visible and also what makes it the first thing to catch. The Mallory goes the other way: forty-two round brilliants at 1.40 mm, sitting low and close to the metal, on a band carrying 2.81 grams of gold.
It is the finest and lightest eternity ring in this collection, and the one least likely to be taken off.
THE SETTING
Micro prong throughout — at this size the prongs are not wire attached to the band but metal raised out of the band's own surface with a graver, cut by hand under magnification and pushed over each stone.
There is no second attempt at a raised prong. Over-cut it and the material is simply gone; the setter has to work into a shape that cannot be added back to. Forty-two times, around a curve.
SPECIFICATIONS
Diamonds — 42 round brilliant, 1.40 mm, 0.012 ct each. 0.50 ct total.
Certification — these are melee diamonds and are not individually certified, which is standard practice at this size.
Setting — Micro prong, raised from the band.
Metal — 14K or 18K gold, in yellow, white or rose. 2.81 g at 14K, 3.30 g at 18K.
Diamond origin — natural or lab-grown, to preference.

Because the diamonds encircle the entire band, an eternity ring cannot be resized once it has been produced. Please size carefully before ordering.
