EIGHTY STONES ON TWO EARRINGS
The Samantha carries forty diamonds per ear. For comparison, a seven-stone cluster elsewhere in this collection carries seven, and a solitaire stud carries one.
Density of that kind is not achieved by making the piece bigger. It is achieved by making the metal between the stones smaller, and every millimetre of gold removed is a millimetre no longer available to hold anything. Seventy-eight small diamonds sit in a structure that also has to survive being pushed through an earlobe and slept on.
THE DETAIL MOST PEOPLE WILL MISS
Seventy-four of those small stones measure 1.40 mm. Four measure 1.20 mm.
That is not a supply accident — a run of seventy-eight would be sieved to one size. Four stones were deliberately stepped down, because at four specific points on the design a 1.40 mm stone would not have fitted the space without the spacing going visibly uneven. It is the kind of correction that takes longer to decide than to set, and nobody is ever supposed to notice it.
The centres are 7.00 mm round brilliants at 1.25 carats each, the same specification used across six designs in this collection.

Diamonds — 2 round brilliant centres, 7.00 mm, 1.25 ct each (2.50 ct); 74 round at 1.40 mm and 4 at 1.20 mm (0.92 ct). 80 stones, 3.42 ct total.
Certification — every diamond of 0.20 ct and above ships with its certificate: GIA for natural, IGI for lab-grown.
Metal — 14K or 18K gold, in yellow, white or rose. 5.78 g at 14K, 6.80 g at 18K.
Diamond origin — natural or lab-grown, to preference.
