FIVE SHAPES, FIVE DIFFERENT COLLARS
Most bracelets repeat one cut. The Sierra uses five: round, heart, emerald, pear and marquise, thirty stones in all, 10.29 carats.
Every one of them is collet-set, which is the part that takes the time. A collet is a collar cut to the outline of the specific stone it holds — so this piece required five entirely different collar geometries, each cut to a different depth, because a heart, a step cut and a brilliant sit at different heights for the same spread. They all have to finish level. A single stone standing proud on a bracelet is obvious in a way it never is on a ring, because a bracelet is seen from above, in a line, against the flat of the wrist.
THE STONES THAT ARE NOT THERE TO BE SEEN
Four of the thirty are marquise cuts at 4.00 × 2.00 mm and 0.05 carats — a fraction of the weight of everything around them, which run between 0.35 and 0.44 carats each.
They are not there to compete. They are punctuation: small, elongated stones placed to separate the larger shapes so that a heart does not sit directly against a pear. Remove them and the bracelet reads as a crowd. It is the kind of decision that costs almost nothing in carats and does most of the work in how the piece is read.

Certification — every diamond of 0.20 ct and above ships with its certificate: GIA for natural, IGI for lab-grown.
Setting — Collet throughout, cut to five different outlines.
Length — fixed at 7 inches.
Metal — 14K or 18K gold, in yellow, white or rose. 9.14 g at 14K, 10.75 g at 18K.
Diamond origin — natural or lab-grown, to preference.
