THE DOMINIC MEN'S RING
The Dominic's top is laid out as a cross. Through the center, two bars of four larger round brilliants run across the width of the band; on either side, three rails of smaller stones run along it, separated by fine grooves and edged by polished borders. The two sizes never meet: a step of polished gold and a thin divider stand between them. Below the set work the band narrows toward the palm, so a wide top sits on a slimmer shank.
THE DIAMONDS
Sixty-eight round brilliants in two sizes, laid in two directions:
Center Bars — Eight larger round brilliants in two bars of four, running across the width of the band, 0.17 ct together.
Side Rails — Sixty smaller round brilliants in six rails of ten, three on each side, running along the band, 0.30 ct together.
Total Carat Weight — 0.47 ct across all sixty-eight diamonds.
THE ARCHITECTURE
Eight separate frames, each closed square:
Even Bead Spacing — Every stone is held by beads, one at each join and one where an end stone meets its wall, so each inner stone is gripped at four points.
Separated Frames — No frame touches another, and every change from one stone size to the other happens across plain polished gold.
Grooved Rails — Fine grooves separate the rails, and a polished border runs along each edge of the band.
Open Seats — Each seat is open beneath, showing inside the band as rows of small points.
Tapered Shank — Below the diamonds the shank narrows into plain, high-polish gold, leaving room for resizing.
