FOUR ROWS THAT CLOSE ON ONE STONE
Seen from above, the Lisette carries four lines of diamonds, two to a shoulder, and no two of them run parallel. Each shoulder leaves the band as a pair of ribbons that splay apart — 6.38 mm across the pair at their widest — then draw back together as they rise, so the rows narrow onto the center and the polished gold between them closes to a line.
The ribbons do not simply fork and rejoin. Below the stone each one rides over its partner before turning up into the claws, leaving an open window either side of the head. Further down, the set work stops at a squared finish and the pair closes into a single band, round in section, 2.03 mm wide and 1.36 mm at the profile. The whole lower half of the circumference is plain polished gold, and the finished ring holds 2.98 grams of it at 14K.
THE SETTING
The 4.70 mm center sits in a collet with four rounded claws over the girdle, one at each quarter, and nothing beneath it. The split arms rise straight into the basket rather than meeting a separate gallery, so light reaches the pavilion from the sides as well as through the table. Claw tip to the underside of the setting, the head measures 5.81 mm.
The forty-eight accents are bead-set: each stone in a seat of its own, held by grains of gold worked up from between them, with a bright polished edge outside the row. A pavé row is usually laid to one width, a single spacing repeated. These are not. The ribbons roll as they climb and close as they go, so the gold between the two rows narrows along the run and no two seats stand on the same width of metal.

Certification — the 0.46 ct round center diamond ships with its certificate: GIA for natural, IGI for lab-grown. The forty-eight accents are melee and are not individually certified, which is standard practice at this size.
Setting — Four-claw collet on an open basket; bead-set pavé, two rows to each shoulder.
Band — 2.03 mm wide, 1.36 mm at the profile, at the plain base; the pair of shoulder rails spreads to 6.38 mm across at its widest. The head stands 5.81 mm from the claw tips to the underside of the setting. 16.92 mm inner diameter.
Metal — 14K or 18K gold, in yellow, white or rose. 2.98 g at 14K, 3.50 g at 18K.
Diamond origin — natural or lab-grown, to preference.
